Family E-Update

Parent/Guest Portal

Potomac State is now offering a Parent/Guest Portal where students can grant parents or guests direct online access to relevant student record information including grade information, financial aid details and student account/billing information.

FERPA Release

Students at West Virginia University and its divisional campuses benefit from the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. This Act was designed to protect the privacy of education records.

FIRST DAY® COMPLETE

WVU has partnered with Barnes & Noble to provide undergraduate students with rented course materials at a lower, flat-rate price before the first day of classes. Starting on July 22, students will automatically be opted into the program for the fall semester and will start receiving emails from Barnes & Noble. Students can choose to opt out of the program until Aug. 30.

University Police patrol campus 24/7, and residence halls are staffed around the clock. When emergencies occur, WVU Alert distributes information quickly through text messaging and digital signage. Students also can download LiveSafe, an app that connects them to the help they need.
